BARKSDALE ELEMENTARY FAMILY PICNIC DAY

Please join us for Family Picnic Day on October 11th from 11-1.  Families are

invited to come, bring blankets or lawn chairs, and enjoy a family lunch

on school grounds.  Families may bring outside food and drink or order

from the cafeteria. The cafeteria will be serving Ham & Cheese

Sandwiches, Doritos, Carrots w/dip, Apple, Carnival Cookie and Slushies.

Visitor lunch prices are $3.50.

 

To ensure safety of all students, there will be designated areas for each grade level and we ask that all students remain in their assigned area throughout the lunchtime.

PARENT INTEREST MEETING

Parent Interest Meeting

The Spanish Immersion Program will be holding a parent interest
meeting here at Barksdale on November 5th at 6pm. This meeting is
for parents of incoming Kindergartners in 2020-2021 that would like
to learn more information about the program. Open spots for the
program are awarded through a lottery process and the program begins
taking applications in December.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR IS COMING TO BARKSDALE!

BOOK FAIR SCHEDULE

 

Sales Dates: Friday, October 4 and continue through Wednesday, October 9. from  8:30 and 3:15.

On Thursday, October 3, you have the opportunity to shop our book fair
during parent-Teacher Conferences. We will be open from 4:30 until
7:15.

Please do not forget that we must charge sales tax on ALL book fair purchases.

importance of a drug-free lifestyle. The following theme days will be:

Favorite Character-NO Masks
