Hello, my name is Mrs. Jackson, and I will be teaching 5th grade reading and social studies. I am so excited to be at Barksdale! I have taught grades 1st through 7th. So, I have experience in both elementary and middle school. I am married to my wonderful husband, Rusty, and we have a blended family of 3 children and 2 grandchildren. We also have 4 dogs and 2 fish! In my spare time I enjoy tending to my houseplants, reading, playing with our dogs, and walking.
