Hi, My name is Marianne Brantly and I am the Reading Interventionist for Barksdale. This is my 15th year at Barksdale, but my 29th year in the system. I have classroom teaching experience in 1st and 3rd grade and was an Academic Coach for 17 years. I am honored to serve the Barksdale community/CMCSS as a reading interventionist and certified academic language therapist.
I am a Clarksville native. My husband Brantly and I have been married for 26 years. We have two sons, Sam, who is a welder for PtL Fabricators and Max who is a 7th grader. We are a big scout family.
I absolutely LOVE being a teacher. My goal is for every student to be a proficient reader.
