Hi, my name is Nicole Tarchak, and I will be teaching third grade this year at Barksdale. I have been teaching in the CMCSS community since 2014. I have taught, 1st, 2nd, and third grades. This will be my second year at Barksdale, and I love being a BENGAL!!!!!! I am originally from Northeast Pennsylvania. I am a dog mom to a mini golden doodle Maverick. I love being outdoors with my dog or reading a good book. I am looking forward to a successful year where all students feel welcome and confident in learning. My goal is for all students to find something they love to read!
